Our Alaska Bed and Breakfast

The Alaska Captain's Retreat Bed and Breakfast is open from May through Mid-September. Reservations are not required but HIGHLY recommended.

We have 5 guest rooms in the main house, one has a private bath in the room.  The other 4 rooms share 2 full baths. Four of these rooms can comfortably accommodate groups of 2 or 3  and one is perfect for a single guest. We provide all linens and towels for all guests.  You should, however, bring all the personal items you need.

All of our guests are treated to a full breakfast served from 5 am - 9 am to suit your schedules.  As a guest, you can make yourself at home in our living room where you will find many interesting resources on Alaska and the local areas. We offer local phone service upon request in the main house.  There is plenty of parking for cars, boats, and trailers, and we can accommodate several RV's. Due to our proximity to Homer, Soldotna, and Kenai, we are a convenient location to explore from with lots of activities to keep you busy when the fishing is done.



We offer a bed and breakfast or B and B in our large home in Ninilchik, Alaska. We also offer fishing charters daily flexable schedules. This is our 10th year in business and we have been the leading Alaska fishing charter and bed and breakfast combination. After fishing all day on the Kenia River you will enjoy a nice hot beverage in our guest house. Cabin reservations also Available. Nightly rentals are popular in Alaska but there are only a few that compete with our quaint bed and breakfast / B and B. We provide the fishing permits, fishing guide, bed and breakfast or nightly rental and a variety of information related to visitor centers in Alaska for all tourist attractions, in all areas of Alaska.



We love company in our 5 bedroom B and B and Cabins. The bed and breakfast has 5 bedrooms all with their own baths. We are 30-45 minutes outside of Homer and about 15 minutes to great fishing. The bed and breakfast community is growing around Homer, Soldotna, Kenai, Cooperlanding and Seward but not many have the fishing charters right in the same parking lot. We offer Halibut, Salmon, Trout and other various fishing in the local Alaskan creeks and rivers. Our bed and breakfast is clean and affordable and has plenty of space to find quiet areas and we have great cooking! Adventure is just around the corner for this local Alaskan B and B, nightly rental, hotel, motel, and bed and breakfast accommodation. Lodging At The Captain's Retreat will be a memory That will last a lifetime!


Our Nightly Rental Cabins

Rent our nice Alaskan cabin out back that sleeps 5 comfortably. This nightly rental cabin is very private and has it's own bathroom as well. Our cabin with a full private bath, located behind the B&B, can sleep up to 4 guests or a family of 5 with 3 single bunks and a double bed. The cabin has a small refrigerator and BBQ grill with a fire pit nearby. The Cabin is near Homer, Cooperlanding, Soldotna / Kenai, Seward, Whittier, Girdwood and Anchorage. You are sure to enjoy the stay traveling from Denali National Park and Preserve or Talkeetna as well. Fishing charters are offered right from our location!
