Directions

We are centrally located in Ninilchik away from the crowds on the infamous Kenai Peninsula. The towns of Kenai, Soldotna, and Homer are within easy access, each a beautiful 30-40 minute drive away.

To the B&B from Anchorage

A 3.5 hour drive unless you stop along the way to take in all the magnificent scenery that this drive has to offer.  We suggest you do!

1. Follow the Seward Highway (Route 1) South, out of Anchorage to the Sterling Highway Junction, (approximately 89 miles from Anchorage).
2. Bearing right here, following signs to Homer, follow the Sterling Highway (southwest) through Soldotna, (approx. 145 miles from Anchorage)
3. Continue on another 39 miles South to mile marker 135.
4. Pass the old village of Ninilchik in the river valley to the right.  Drive on, you’re almost there!
5. As you see the Tesora Gas Station on your left, turn left here (Oil Well Road). 
6. We are the first house on the left on Oilwell Road.
7. Come in and make yourself at home.

From Kenai Airport

1. Turn right out of airport
2. Turn left onto Main Street Loop
3. Continue through the intersection and across the Bridge Access Road
4. Turn right onto Kalifornsky Beach Road
5. Travel approximately 15 miles until you reach the Sterling Highway (Route #1)
6. Continue south until you reach Ninilchik
7. Continue south until you reach the old Village of Ninilchik and follow the directions above to Oil well Road.

Most of you will rent or drive a car, but should you need transportation from or around Anchorage, we recommend:
